About Zoey
The story of Zoey is interesting to say the least. Maryann Bisceglia
who has been a mentor to me and is the owner of Zoey’s sire
the Great Ingebar’s Uri Gellar came to my house to help me
evaluate my litter. She immediately recognized that Zoey and her
brother Chief had potential. I was looking to keep a male out of
this litter, and I was not in a position to keep two out of the
same litter. She mentioned to me that there was a man from Rhode
Island looking to buy a really nice bitch and with that she introduced
me to Paul and Maureen Mihailides.
I don’t know where to begin about my relationship with the
Mihailides family. Paul really took to having Giant Schnauzers.
He shipped Zoey to me from Rhode Island to begin her show career.
Zoey immediately caught peoples eyes with her dynamic personality,
and her stunning good looks not to mention her mother’s (Ebby)
love of the show ring. At the 2001 Nationals in Canfield, Ohio
Zoey took reserve winners bitch from the 6 to 9 puppy class. In
what seems to becoming a pattern with our Tanglewood pups she won
the breed from the classes over several of the top specials in
the country to finish her Championship.
Zoey has litters on the ground now, and she has produced
some of the best Tanglewood pups to date. They have a long way to
go to live up to their mothers potential but we have high hopes
for Zoey as a brood bitch.
