Tanglewood Giant Schnauzers is proud to be a second generation showing and breeding program. Originally founded by my parents, Ed and Judy Fojtik back in 1960’s. Tanglewood Giant Schnauzers combined the magical bloodlines of Ch. Shar Ebony and Ch. Quedame De La Steingasse, resulting in such Best in Show Giants as Quay Antonio of Tanglewood and Quay's Bad LeRoy Brown of Tanglewood, to name a few. Tony still is one of the highest finishing Giant Schnauzers at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, winning a Working group second before they split the Working group! However, the real deciding factor for me to carry on the Tanglewood tradition was the tremendous loyalty, devotion, love, and companionship that I was so fortunate to experience as a child. Growing up with these incredible animals was truly a privilege.
My hope was to find another Shar Ebony. My fondest dreams were realized with the purchase of my first Giant Schnauzer, Ch. Nightline Abstract Affair. Ebby, as I affectionately call her, was the number one Female Giant Schnauzer in 2000. My good luck continued with the acquisition of Ch. Ruster's The Mysterious Avenger, "Bullet". Along with Bullet’s daughter, Ruster's The Mysterious Image (Reeba), my foundation is as strong as ever.
Join the Tanglewood Family and perhaps I can produce a childhood dream for you.
